The glory of God...

For God, who said, 'Let there be light in the darkness,' has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.

While we were still sinners...

But God demonstrates his 

own love for us in this: 

While we were still sinners, 

Christ died for us.

It used to be the best part, what showed off the vehicle. 

What made it ~ what sepatated it from the rest of the pack! 

I love to go to car shows just to "shoot the parts"!

"Keeping each other company ~ a barn and his truck"

These two have occupied the same spot 

~ motionless for most of my adult life!

I have taken dozens of images of them over those years, 

and it is comforting to know that they have continued 

to confide in each other so well!

I do dread the day when someone comes between them 

and splits them up too!  

I hope they have a say in that!

May we always keep our friends close!

I think they are a lot like us ~

Some days I can spend hours just shooting fence posts!

I think they are a lot like us ~ 

Each one unique in it's own way, standing the tests of time.  

We perform a function in the line-up of life, 

sometimes leaning by ourselves, 

sometimes on each other! 

Until eventually, we are cast away 

or forgotten - no longer of value in the eyes of many.

Yet the difference is ~ 

God loves us all, no one is less than another.

He also gave us a choice.

Follow Him, or not, that choice is ours to make.

Just when we feel useless, he holds us up by our faith.

Pulling together, we can make a difference!

Our strengths of Faith, Hope and Love will weather the storms. 

~ if we lean on Him!
